Wine tastings/varied: Crown Wine & Spirits' locations will host wine tastings from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday in North Palm Beach, 11951 US Highway 1 North, 561-627-2090, and Saturday in Fort Lauderdale at 1030 NE 15th Ave, 954-358-9463. Cost is $15 per person.

Cooking demo/fish: Bloomingdale's Boca Raton, 5840 Glades Road, will host a free cooking demonstration 1 p.m. Saturday. Executive chef Daniel Ramos of the Sundy House Restaurant in Delray Beach, will prepare a fish dinner. Information: 561-394-2263.

Cooking demos/varied: Macy's Men's & Home Store Aventura, 19535 Biscayne Blvd., 305-682-3352, and Macy's Home Store at Dadeland Mall Miami, 7675 N. Kendall Dr., 305-662-3350, will host free cooking demonstrations 1 p.m. Saturday.

Cooking demo/desserts: All About Entertaining and Shooters Waterfront Cafe Fort Lauderdale, 303 NE 32 Ave., will host a Desserts and Champagne cooking demonstration from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday. Learn to make brownie sundaes, cookie sandwiches and cherries jubilee plus how to saber a champagne bottle. Cost is $35 per person. Reservations: 561-866-2760. Wine dinner/French: Bispo's Cellar and Le Val De Loire, 1576 SE Third Court, Deerfield Beach, will host a French wine dinner at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday. Cost is $60 per person. Cooking classes/varied: Publix Apron's Cooking School Boca Raton, 5050 Champion Blvd., offers a variety of classes including a hands-on bread baking class 10 a.m. May 30 ($35). Wine tasting/Bordeaux: Cafe Maxx, 2601 E. Atlantic Blvd., Pompano Beach, will host a 2006 Vintage Bordeaux Wine Tasting at 7 p.m. May 29. Chef Oliver Saucy will provide a few small courses to accompany the wines, and you can order off the menu. The event is limited to 16 people and costs $250 all-inclusive. Reservations: 954-523-9463.

Wine dinner/Darioush: Wine Watch and 1 Bleu in The Regent Bal Harbour, 10295 Collins Ave., Bal Harbour, are hosting a Darioush Wine Dinner at 7:30 p.m. Saturday. Darioush is the trendiest wine tasting room in Napa Valley right now according to the people at Wine Watch. Chef Mark Militello of 1 Bleu will prepare a four-course meal to accompany the wines.
