2009 China Wine Economic Annual Forum to be Held in September

2009 China Wine Economic Annual Forum (hereinafter referred to as CWEAF) will kick off in September. “Looking for Chinese styled wine – Chinese wine industry under the financial crisis” will be the theme of the forum.
After successfully holding the CWEAF 200, many wine producers and wine region authorities contacted China Wine News to discuss about future cooperation in the forum. They agreed that China Wine Economic Annual Forum is the grandest affair in Chinese wine industry, it also provide a good opportunity for industry members to show, to communicate as well as to discuss about cooperation during the forum. Chinese Wine Economic Report published during each forum could be a good reference for wine producers to make correct decision under current circumstances.

2008 China Wine Economic Annual Forum
The success of CWEAF 2007 also attracted many foreign companies’ concern. French trade show VINITECH showed great interest and co-sponsored VINITEC China & CWEAF 2008 with China Wine News in Penglai City, Shandong Province.
With “diversification” as the theme of CWEAF 2007, China Wine News aimed to lead Chinese wine industry develop in a unique way featured wine region, grape varieties, and marketing model.
CWEAF 2008 made even more progress. It become a platform of communication for wine producers and related companies from home and abroad. Under the theme of “competitiveness” , it discussed how to improve wine industry’s competitiveness, leading wine producers actively participate in international competition.
CWEAF 2009 will not only perpetuate the agenda of the past two session, it will also hold a third-party tasting, selecting "most Chinese styled wines" by a group of wine judge made of independent experts. Besides, representatives will visit wine regions and wineries.
CWEAF 2009 will also investigate into development of Chinese wine industry under the global financial crisis. Industry leaders and analysts will deliver speeches during the forum.
