Danish wine drinkers go down market

A wine exporter in the south west of WA says sales have dropped by 90 per cent over the last year.
Julie Williamson represents 14 Australian wineries in the Scandinavian market.
For the past decade, she's focused on premium wines, but says it's now the lower end of the market that's maintaining her business.
"Because in Scandinavia, the Danes will probably give up food before they give up drinking wine," she says.
"And they still are buying wine - in fact, Denmark probably, like lots of places in the world, will drink more wine in a recession than what they would otherwise.
"But they are definitely buying the bottom end of the market."
