Imported Wine Consumption in China to Gush in 2015

The 4th Guangdong International Wine& Spirits Expo(GIWSE) will be held in Guangzhou Free Trade Zone during July 9 to 11 in 2009, which is not simply an wine exhibition.

Usually, all foreign liquor is subject to an import tax as high as 48.2%. However, exhibitors don’t have to pay any tax for the exhibition taking place in the Free Trade Zone (FTZ). Chinese buyers will pay the import tax when they bring the liquor out of the Free Trade Zone (FTZ).

The conference that confirming top 7 wine regions all over the world will be held for the first time during GIWSE.

Zhu sixu, the director of Guangdong provincial alcohol industry association, predicted that imported wine consumption in China is expected to gush in the next 5 years.
