FBD: Alexandrion Grup Romania in Brazil looking for wine import opportunities

On June 16th and 17th four wineries from Rio Grande do Sul State are receiving the visit of the chairman and two directors of the Alexandrion group, one of the five largest producers and distributors of alcoholic beverages of Romania with branches in Greece, Ukraine, China and Germany.
¡°The Romanians come to Rio Grande do Sul interested in checking the possibility of establishing joint ventures with Brazilian companies and to import national wines¡± informs the Commercial Promotion Division (DOC) of the Ministry of Foreign Relations that promotes the mission with the support of the Brazilian Institute of Wine (IBRAVIN).
According to the Brazilian Embassy in Bucharest the Romanian commission is formed by the chairman of the company, Nawaf Salemeh and the directors George Christoforidis and Stelios Savva. The technical visits will be held at Salton, Miolo, Aurora and Casa Valduga. In 2007, the Alexandrion group generate revenues of € 32.3million.
