And some National part from Beijing, Shandong, Zhejiang, Hubei, Henan, Ningxia, Xinjiang.
During this exhibition in the Hall 3 and 4 were the wineries from all around the world, there is a competition to select the best wines of the fair, and in 2009, Vogus Wines get the reward of the best white wines, with the wine named Transparence.
Transparence is not only a wine is the result of meticulous work of a professional wine maker, the name comes from a transparency of the color of white wine and also the way in which wine is in the greater transparency in the tradition of great French wines.
First step, the grape that gives these wonderful aromas comes from the best area quality production, the best old vines gave the best grapes and then the best wine. The grapes are harvested and selected by hand during the night. Harvest during the night permit to keep the grappe a lower temperature and insure the best quality and avoid the oxidation (white grapes are very fragile with high temperatures), because the harvest in France start from the beginning of September.
The winemaker of Vogus Wines chardonnay work between 13 ° and 14 ° for mature profiles types, full and round at the same time.
The Mediterranean climate allows them to achieve this balance while maintaining the freshness. All the Transparence is aged in barrels purchased from “Chateau Yquem” (Sauternes Grand Cru). These oak barrels were used in the vinification of a vintage of Sauternes (15 to 18 months). Then we get these barrels for wine making our Chardonnays which gives our wines of complexity and some sweetness among others. In addition, our wines better fit barrels that have already taken a wine rather than new barrels, the use of new barrels give a taste of wood too hard, use the second gives a more rounded fine.
The secret is to get the best selection of grapes, the best area, best soils, the oldest vines, harvested at night by hand, and a method similar to Winemaking great Bordeaux wines which gives this wine its full complexity TRANSPARENCE.
