Cold Drink Industry

In the sweltering summer day, refrigerant drink and food are badly needed to quench the thirst and remove the summer heat of people. The cold drink and food then take the very opportunity to come into the market.

Before the western carbonated drinks and ice creams entered into Chinese market, we had such inexpensive yet quite good cold drinks as mung bean soup, syrup of plum and mare's milk especially for the children. Later the icerteria selling water ice, cheese, icy juice etc. came into being in various places. The cold tea stand was also set up by some venders to let passers-by and working people quench their thirst.
