Since the beginning of this year, imported wine market entered dormant period, the price dropped to 60-80 yuan per bottle, many wines are sold less than100 yuan per bottle.

In many wine stores and large supermarkets in Beijing, wine priced 100 or so accounted for more than half the market share, the gap between prices of imported wine and domestic wine is narrowing.

Miss Lee, a consumer in the supermarket, said, “In previous years, the imported wines are very expensive, and their quality is not high. Recently, however, wines from Europe and Australia have changed the situation. My friends and I are more inclined to choose wines from Chile, the United States and Australia, which are very valued, they often priced under 100 yuan, almost same price with domestic wine. "

Statictics show that in the past 10 years, the development of China’s alcoholic market is  7 times faster than the world average level. This year, China will consume 766 million bottles of wine. But on the whole level of China's wine consumption is concerned,  rising from 0.3 liter to 0.6 liter per capita is only the beginning of speeding. To reach the international average of seven liters per capita, it relies on the low end products.

A survey shows that Chinese are becoming more and more rational in wine consumption.
