The Japan Prestige Sake Association organized key Japanese sake producers to jointly participate in the 3rd China International Alcoholic Drinks Expo 2009 held in Beijing from July 3rd through 5th, 2009, making every effort to further exploit Chinese market.

It is reported that 13 most typical sake enterprises from Tokyo and Yamagata etc are organized to the Expo with their over 30 varieties of sakes. They took this opportunity to introduce Japanese sake and sake culture to China, with a view to expanding market share.

With its huge wine and liquor consumption market and relatively high growth rate in financial crisis, Chinese market is a great magnet for Japanese sake producers.

Journalist from cnwinenews knows that Japanese sake producers think that despite similar culture and food habit and long history of sake culture communication between China and Japanese, Chinese consumers’ understanding of Japanese sake is limited. Japan Prestige Sake Association expressed that they mainly focused on promoting Japanese sake, further understanding Chinese market and guiding more Japanese sake to enter China. More Japanese sake enterprises will be organized to China so as to promote the harmonious development of wine, liquor and sake culture between two countries.
