White Rocket Wine Company Consolidates into Jackson Family Wines

White Rocket Wine Company, a division of Jackson Family Wines that launched in 2006 to develop new brands appealing especially to Millennial-generation wine consumers, has made lay offs and may shut down the division according to industry sources.

"White Rocket Company is consolidating into Jackson Family Wines effective immediately," Caroline Shaw, spokeswoman for Jackson Family Wines, said. "There will be some lay offs and some individuals will join the Jackson Family Wines team, for example, the winemaker Melissa Bates will continue to make the wine for White Rocket Wines und the Jackson Family Wines Portfolio."

Mark Feinberg, White Rocket's vice president of marketing, declined to comment.
