The 3rd China Wine Economic Annual Forum to Be Held in Qinghuangdao from 19th through 21st September

    Through the investigation by organizing committee of China Wine Economic Annual Forum and China Wine News and agreed by Qianghuangdao Municipal Government, the 3rd China Wine Economic Annual Forum will be held in Beidaihe of Qinghuangdao from 19th through 21st. September. Qinghuangdao 2009 International Wine Industry Development Summit of the 10th Qianghuangdao International Wine Festival will be held at the same time.

    As one of the key coastal cities in China, Qinghuangdao has such important wine production areas as Changli and Lulong, hence some advantages in wine production. With its special environmental advantages and great potential, Liushan Valley in the production area has been a promising land for investors. In order to vigorously develop wine industry, the municipal government decided to hold activities of distinguish local features to showcase the wine industry.

    Theme of the 3rd China Wine Economy Annual Conference is to discuss the development orientation of China’s wine industry and the mode of participating in international competition so as to increase confidence in development and stimulate the sound development of China’s wine industry.

 “Looking for Chinese styled wine – Chinese wine industry under the financial crisis” will be the theme of the forum. Participants will focus on the theme and jointly discuss development orientation of China’s wine industry, the pattern of international competition as well as the way to tide over difficulty and strengthen confidence. It was in Changli County of Qinghuangdao that the first dry red wine in China was independently brewed. Therefore, as the 60th anniversary of People’s Republic of China is approaching, the annual forum will be held in Qinghuangdao, the birthplace of Chinese styled wine, so as to seek new Chinese style and accelerate the sound development of China’s wine industry.
    China Wine News knows from director of organizing committee of Qianghuangdao International Wine Festival that the international wine festival aims to integrate special tourist resources, further enhance wine industry level, promote links between upstream and downstream industry, attract more investor from home and abroad and make wine industry grow in scale and strength. In addition, with the invitation of Qinghuangdao Municipal Government, the 3rd China Wine Economic Annual Forum will be held in Qianghuangdao, further stimulating development of the production area. It is believed that the forum will be a grand event in which many sides can achieve win-win.
    Over ten outstanding entrepreneurs, for example, Liu Chuanzhi and Ning Gaoning, will attend the forum. Besides theme forum, wine competition by China Wine News and Wine Angel Awarding Ceremony, attendees will participate in the wine promotion activities organized by Qinghuangdao Municipal Government, wine culture activities and relevant trade activities. By fully communicating with Qinghuangdao wine production area, attendees will enjoy local wine culture to their hearts’ content.
