DRINKTEC 2009: China Brew & China Beverage ties up with Drinktec

Drinktec has secured a co-operation agreement with China Brew & China Beverage, giving the two drinks trade shows exclusive support for each other.

 

Drinktec, which is organised by Messe München, will offer "exclusive support" to China Brew & China Beverage (CBB) in Europe, while CBB, coordinated by the China National Building Material & Light Industrial Machinery Group Corporation, will reciprocate for the European trade show in Asia.

 

The two organisers secured the arrangement at this year's Drinktec exhibition, which closes in Munich tomorrow (19 September).

 

"For both sides the cooperation opens up great opportunities, in particular in view of the ongoing growth in the Asian market," said Messe München.

 

While CBB will look to strengthen the positioning of its event, which takes place every two years in Beijing, Drinktec said it hopes to use the agreement to "open up further exhibitor and visitor potential in Asia".

 

The next CBB exhibition takes place between 7 September and 10 September next year, while Drinktec returns in 2013, running from 16 September and 21 September.
