In supermarkets, icewines were displayed along with moon cake at most attracting places. There are icewines from Canadian , Germany, as well as local Changyu Icewines from Golden Icewine Valley, ranging from several dozen RMB to over RMB1000. According to Chen, a bottle of genuine icewine is usually priced over RMB 200.
Changyu Icewine won "Best Buy "Award at SIAL (France International Food and Beverage Expo) on May 18. It is also the only Chinese winners in this competition In August, Changyu Icewine defeated almost 1000 wines all over the world in this year’s " Wine "magazine” competition and was awarded " 2009 Best Wine ", it is also the only icewine won the prize in this event.
