The 3rd China Wine Economic Annual Forum Opened in Qinghuangdao

The 3rd China Wine Economic Annual Forum& Qinghuangdao 2009 International Wine Industry Summit, jointly organized by China National Association for Liquor and Spirits Circulation, Qinghuangdao Municipal Government, Lulong County People’s Government and China Wine News Media Co., Ltd, was held in Qinghuangdao, Hubei Province on September 20, 2009.

   A total of over 300 wine scholars, entrepreneurs, dealers, financial experts as well as media reporters participated in the forum, including Wu Haiqing, Director of Food Production& Supervision Department of State General Administration for Quality Supervision, Qu Ying, Director of Market Operation Department of Ministry of Commerce, Liu Yuan, Executive Vice President and Secretary General of China National Association for Liquor and Spirits Circulation, Wang Zuming, Secretary General of Wine Branch of China Alcoholic Drinks Industry Association, Yao Wuji, Executive Vice President of Wine Branch of Chinese Association of Agricultural Science Societies, Luan Xinguo, Pressident of China Wine News, Zhu Sixu, Deputy Director of Guangdong Liquor Administration.

    Based on looking for Chinese style for Chinese wine against the backdrop of the global financial crisis, the forum fully discussed the history, current situation and future development of China’s wine industry, revealed the great instructive significance Chinese style plays in China’s wine industry development. The participants agreed that China’s wine industry development must embody Chinese style and Chinese wine culture must be rooted in Chinese civilization. Chinese wine culture will be based on Chinese culture.
