Too many grapes equals cheap wine

For wine drinkers, it seems, 2009 is a very good year.
That's because the cost of a bottle of wine appears to be plummeting as a result of a grape glut, and the sour economy.
According to MSNBC, "Pinot Noir grapes that once fetched $5,000 a ton now sell for $2,500."
Cheaper grapes translates to cheaper wines. Premium bottles that were once priced in the $50 and $60 a bottle range, have slid to under twenty bucks.
And a lot of great wines are selling for even less!
