Languedoc Roussillon become the second biggest French wine region exported to China, only behind Bordeaux

The importers who bought more than 30 containers can apply for the title of “Sud de France official importers”. The three “Sud de France official importers” are Shanghai Langge International Trade Development Co., Ltd, Shanghai Langrong Trade Co., Ltd, and Xiamen Fengde Import & Export Trade Co., Ltd.
 
According to the statistics, Languedoc Roussillon entered China only three years ago, but has made dramatic progress. Under the global financial crisis, Languedoc Roussillon wine exported to China tripled in HI 2009 both in value and volume term compared to some period of last year. The export volume from Languedoc Roussillon increased 201.5% compared to 81.89% total French wine into China, and the value increased 196.8%. Languedoc Roussillon has surpassed Burgundy and become the second French wine region only behind Bordeaux.
