Spareribs with Pu’er tea Fragrance
Pu’er tea as a drink can help eliminate fat and lose weight, and it is a great aid as an ingredient for dishes to rid of greasiness and cleaning the intestines and stomach. The dish made by stewing Pu’er tea with spareribs can not only lift away redundant oil of the spareribs but also taste soft, tender and delicious with a mouthful of tea fragrance.
Recipe (for two persons)
Ingredients: spareribs (250g), aged ripe Pu’er (3 spoons), oyster juice (3 spoons), green Chinese onion (1/3 stalk), ginger (3 slices), garlic (3 pieces) and salt (1/3 spoon)
Tool: gauze (1 piece)
Clean the green Chinese onion and ginger and cut them into slices; smack flat the garlic and peel it;
Tie up the Pu’er tea leaves with a piece of gauze for later use.
Clean the spareribs and cut them into small pieces; scald the spareribs in the boiling water for 20 seconds and then take them out to drain the water.

Take another boiler and pour in 5 bowls of water and boil the water; put in the spareribs together with tied-up Pu’er tea bag, onion slices, ginger, garlic and 3 spoons of oyster juice in the boiling water in the pan for 20 minutes with strong heat and then reduce to a simmer for 10 minutes.

Add in 1/3 spoon of salt as seasoning 10 minutes before taking the chops out of the pan; fish out the Pu’er tea bag and then arrange the spareribs on the plate.
