EUR: Constellation readies FreschCase for UK, Scandinavia
Constellation Europe has announced the launch of FreshCase packaging for two of its wine brands in the UK and Scandinavia.
The company said today (19 October) that the new packaging, which launched on 1 November, has been designed to pour direct from the fridge and holds 2.25 litres of wine, the equivalent of three bottles.
FreshCase keeps wine fresh for up to six weeks after opening, and weighs 70% less than the equivalent bottles, Constellation said.
The company will offer Hardys Nottage Hill FreshCase Cabernet Shiraz 2007 in the UK only, with Hardys Nottage Hill FreshCase Chardonnay 2008 on offer in the UK, Sweden and Norway. Both the Banrock Reserve FreshCase Cabernet Shiraz and Chardonnay Verdelho SSP will be available in Denmark and Norway.
Recommended retail price is in the region of GBP19.99 (US$32.78) per box and SEK209 (US$30.15) in Sweden.
