According to New Zealand Trade Development Board, the tax on wine from New Zealand to China has decreased to 12% this year, which is expected to be abolished in 2012.
The above favorable news pushed wines of New Zealand rushing to China. Statistics showed that New Zealand’s wine exports to China for the 12 months to the end of August has jumped to USD 7 million from USD 3 million year on year.
China ranks as New Zealand’s 15th largest market for wine export.
