Guangdong Wine Imports Soaring 80% in Q1

Statistics show that China mainland ‘s wine imports increased by 10.74%, to 1.632 million hl last year, in which bottled wine (not more than 2L) imports lifted by 36.09%, to 0.576 million hl ; bottled wine that bigger than 2L imports up 0.53%, to 1.056 million hl.

 

 

 

During the first quarter of this year, wine imports in Guangdong province registered a 39.9% lift in volume terms to 63.19 million l, which were valued at 45.79 million USD ( HKD 0.357 billion),up 77.3% year on year .

 

The average price of imported wine to Guangdong province jumped by 26.8%, to USD7.2/L. The total imports of bottled wine (not more than 2L) grew by 43.7%, to 40.88 million l.
