Monsoon Valley Colombard 09 wins medal and awarded “Best Wine From Thailand” at the Hong Kong International Wine & Spirit Competition

 Siam Winery’s Monsoon Valley has again earned accolades and further acknowledgement among wine connoisseurs as its Monsoon Valley Colombard 2009 wine has won a bronze medal at the Cathay Pacific Hong Kong International Wine & Spirit Competition 2009, as well as receiving a special trophy as “the Best Wine From Thailand”.
Inaugurated for the first time this year, the Cathay Pacific Hong Kong International Wine & Spirit Competition aims to provide wine lovers in the region with an easy and informative way to explore and enjoy the wonderful world of wines and spirits, and to help the trade showcase their products in the world's most dynamic market. Gathered were a top class panel of Asia’s most esteemed judges drawn from a selection of wine journalists, educators, food and beverage professionals, wine buyers and private collectors.
Among 1,300 entries this year, Siam Winery received impressive reviews for its Monsoon Valley Colombard 2009 which won a prestigious bronze medal from among stiff competition. Also, in keeping with the competition's raison d'etre of being a truly Asian competition, judges also award trophies for Asia’s Best category, and for this the Monsoon Valley Colombard 2009 was awarded the “Best Wine from Thailand”.
