Himfr Predicts China's White Liquor Prices Will Rise

BEIJING, Dec. 15 /PRNewswire-Asia/ -- Himfr.com, one of China's leading B2B search platforms with more than 30 B2B industry websites to its name, forecasts that China's white liquor prices will rise in next year.

Moutai first proposed price increases, and other well-know white liquors prices will also follow to create a general industry price increase. 53 degrees Moutai may increase to 60 RMB per bottle.

In view of rising prices of product raw materials, the market supply and demand situation, and the needs of enterprise development strategies, Guizhou Moutai decided to appropriate an adjustment of Guizhou Moutai prices -- an average increase rate of about 13%.

Himfr has learned that 53 degrees Moutai will adjust its price again on New Year's Day. The latest ex-factory price is 499 RMB/bottle, which is up 60 RMB/bottle, while the ex-factory price of 38-degree Moutai has risen 30 RMB/bottle.

Himfr forecasts that in next year, starting January 1, the 53 degrees five-star Moutai price will raise to 789 RMB per bottle -- the greatest range being among vintage, ranging approximately between 20%-30%.

Fenjiu and Wuliangye eager to follow up, increase their prices.

Shanxi Fenjiu also notices that some of the products ex-factory price increased 10%-15%. For more than 15 years, the price of the Fenjiu series wine (http://himfr.com/list-product-Food_Beverage-13000000-1.html ), has only increased about 15%.

Since August Wuliangye had raised some product prices, of which the 52 degrees Wuliangye retail price rose from 598 RMB increase to 638 RMB. Next year Himfr forecasts that Wuliangye prices will increase more.

Himfr estimates that next year the high-grade of white liquor prices will continue to increase.
