Aveníu Brands Promotes Joe Bosco, Vice President, National Sales Manager

Aveníu Brands, a fine wine and spirits importer wholly owned by Spain’s Codorníu Group, announced the promotion of Joseph A. Bosco to the position of Vice President, National Sales Manager effective Friday, January 1, 2010. In his role, Bosco will be responsible for leading the Aveníu Brands national sales team, growing distribution and volume, generating brand value with wholesales and motivating and educating distributor sales forces.

Bosco joined Aveníu Brands in August, 2009 as Vice President, Southeast Division. His 23 year career has also included senior management positions with Icon Estates, a subsidiary of Constellation Brands as Division Vice President, South; Allied Domecq North America as Director of Off-Premise Chains and Vice President Sales, Central Division; and Gallo Winery as Division Manager Fine Wines, Midwest. Bosco started his career in Detroit, Michigan with the J. Lewis Cooper Company Distributing.

Bosco holds a BA in Economics and Management from Albion College, MI and has completed the Master Sommelier Level 1 from the Courts of Master Sommeliers. Originally from Michigan, Bosco currently resides in Fort Lauderdale, Florida with his wife Debra.
