 New Year's Eve at the Adelmann: At Woodriver Event Center, 622 S. Idaho St., with comedian/hypnotist Greg Hassakis. Price includes one drink and a midnight toast. 7 p.m. door, show at 8 p.m. and dancing until 2 a.m. $25 per person, $45 for two in advance, at 867-5119; or $30 at the door. "Party for a Cause" with BoiseLife, 9 p.m. to 2 a.m. at the Rose Room, 714 W. Idaho St., Boise. $25 includes two drinks and dancing through the decades. Costumes encouraged. Emilio's at the Grove Hotel, 245 S. Capitol Blvd. 333-8002, will serve off-the-menu specials cooked up by chef Christopher Hain. Dinner starts at 5 p.m. with the last seating at 9 p.m. Reservations recommended.

FAMILY CELEBRATIONS

New Year's Live at the Linen, an all-ages party at the Linen Building, 1402 W. Grove St., Boise, will feature music, art, snacks and full bar from 7 p.m. to 1 a.m. $10 general, $5 ages 6-12, $3 ages 5 and younger.

Wahooz Bash, laser tag, miniature golf and more. 5 p.m. to midnight, Wahooz Family Fun Zone, 1385 Blue Marlin Lane, Meridian (next to Roaring Springs). $12-plus tax in advance at www.wahoozfunzone.com through Dec. 30, $15 at the door.
