With the widespread of wine knowledge and culture, Chinese wine consumption is gradually changing. The table wine priced dozens of yuan is slowing moving toward 100-200 yuan. Along with the growth of Chinese disposable income, the growth of high-end wines are more robust.

Many wine companies agreed with this market trend. "At present, low-end wine brands is still the main source of profit, but high-end varieties will no doubt become the new profit growth point in future," Mi Yeongyang, Marketing Department manager of Dynasty Winery Co., Ltd. said.

Mi YongYang said, wines over 300 yuan are high end wine for Dynasty. The high-end wine market share is still low but the growth rate is very rapid. Its future market potential can not be underestimated.

In fact, at the same time of the high-end wine rise to attention, Changyu has seized the high-end market opportunities ahead of others and grasped the market advantage. Zhou Hongjiang, general manager of Changyu, once said that Changyu maintained a high growth rate in 2008 in spite of the economic downturn was mainly due to its high-end strategy.

In the past three years, so-called Chateau wine of Changyu has maintained an annual growth rate of more than 50%, and become an important pillar of profitability.

Another market leader COFCO launched The Great Wall Sangan chateau wine after building Nava Valley Junding Winery in 2007. The Dynasty Imperial Horse Winery, which was established in 2006, also introduced a variety of high-end wines in the same year.

Despite the high-quality chateau wine priced up to a thousand yuan, the fine wine of more than 10 thousand yuan which are usually for collection is worthy of the high-end wine market "King."

Changyu, Nava Valley Junding and Dynasty all launched its own collection-class wine, priced in ten thousand or so, and some even as high as nearly 20 thousand yuan. Many products is produced in limited amount with a unique numbered collection certificate.

Therefore, the industry leaders are all full of confidence for high-end wines. With local fine wine gradually entering the Chinese collector's attention, they no doubt have a more value appreciation space.
