Imported wine's new trend in China
In the first nine months of 2009,China imported 100 million liters of wine in a way of general trade, down 2.2%,accounting for 79.9% of the total amount. China imported 25160000 liters of wine first to the bonded area, then transited the stored goods, down 10.4%, accounting for 19.3% of the total amount.
Imported wine from EU declined 0.6% to 51400000 liters. Chile,with a total imported amount of 32450000 liters, has dropped by 24.8% in volume while imported wine from Australia jumped 180% to 31250000 liters. Imported wine from Chile,EU and Australia accounted for 88.1% of the total volume. In the first nine months of 2009, wine packed below 2 liters up 52% to 63270000 liters in volume, accounting for 48.4% of the totaol volume. Wine packed beyond 2 liters down 29.5% to 57650000 liters in volume, accounting for 44.1% of the total volume. The down of large packed wine and the rising of small packed wine has proved the boom of brand imported wine in China.
