Jinan wine imports increase 320% in 2009

In 2009, Wine exports to Jinan of Shandong Province from the world's major wine-producing countries such as France, Canada, Australia, Germany, Spain, Austria, topped to 260,000 liters, an increase of 320%. Compared with previous years, imports of icewine, sparkling wine also increased dramatically besides red and white wines.
In rt-mart of Jinan, imported wine accounts for half of the displays, among which 80% are French wines, dwarfed the local brands like Changye, Great Wall. Like domestic wines, the imported wines are also providing heavy discount for the coming China lunar new year.
