Kiwi-Lafite Fine Wines promotes New Zealand Wines in Guangdong
Kiwi-Lafite Fine Wines and Okahu Estate held a "fall in love with New Zealand Wines" tastings in Panyu, Guangdong , in November 29.
In recent years, New Zealand wines made a great progress in China thanks to the free trade agreement between the two countries. Under the agreement, China's tariffs on wine imports from New Zealand will be gradually reduced. In 2009, the tariff of New Zealand wines has reduced from 20% to 12%. It will further reduce in 2010 and 2011 to 8%, 4% respectively, and eventually duty-free access to the Chinese market.
