China exports 1.27% of wines

Customs statistics shows that China exported 1400815 liters wines, equaling to 1,867,753 bottles 750 ml of wines in 2009 (excluding HK, Macao and Taiwan). Bottled wines (less than 2 liters per bottle) were 1131951 liters. And bottled wines(more than 2 liters per bottle) were 268,864 liters. The total wine exports valued 5,625,189 US dollars.
The statisitcs showed that wine exports accounted for 1.27% of toal wine imports in China. And most of Chinese wine producers mainly exported bottled wines.
In addition, the exports of Chinese brandy were 241,623 liters by volume, 26,302,593 US dollars by value in 2009, far exceeding the total value of wine exports.
