Romanian wines to be promoted in countries others than EU ones
It is for the first time when the wine makers lodged promotion projects totaling so much, the MADR official said during the meeting the Vineyards and Wine Employers’ Association (PNVV) organised in Focsani. The wine promotion projects used to be worth about 100,000 euros so far.
‘Canada, China, Japan, Thailand, Russia are listed among the countries where the wine makers want to have their products promoted. It is very well that from 100,000-euro projects lodged in the years before, we have now projects worth about 1.2 million euros, to be promoted in third countries.
Among the applicants there is also a wine maker from Vrancea (east) that want the wines made in Odobesti to be promoted in Japan,’ said Dicu. PNVV organised a meeting with the wine growers of Vrancea, also attended by MADR officials, at the Local Council in Focsani, on Tuesday.
