Portraits des vignerons at Vinisud: a love story between vintners and their land

(Drinks Media Wire). The “Portraits de Vignerons“ range was created by Nathalie Pagaud, a woman of vision and a passion for wine. Her wish: To make people the vector for communicating the love of wine and the art of winemaking. “To make wine, you need land and its specific soil, vines and their individual characteristics, but most of all you need people and their personal approach to winegrowing.” This innovative view of wine puts the spotlight on the winemaker. And this is how she convinced the winegrowers to take a few moments in their busy days to briefly pause in front of the photographer’s lens!

Each face, each personality finds expression in black and white portraits reproduced on the bottles, communicating emotion, passion, awe, beauty, sharing… Never before a label will have said so much about a wine’s creators and origins!

An extensive range:
“Portraits de Vignerons“ offers a wide choice of wines to the consumer, as it represents a selected panel of winegrowing estates. Each product line exists in the different appellations, which means that, to date, the wine lover can choose between 9 references and no fewer than 5 winegrowers!
A new approach to the consumption of wine, allying ethics and aesthetics

More than a simple purchase - a relationship:
Thanks to the portrait of “his” vintner and the detailed information printed on the bottles, selecting a wine becomes a completely new experience for the consumer. In discovering the man or woman behind the wine he is about to enjoy, his choice will inevitably be more emotional, more personal and more trusting, just like buying wine directly from the producer. That way, if a wine he has been to his liking, the consumer will easily identify other wines from the same range thanks to the portraits of the winemakers!

“Portraits de Vignerons“ has selected winegrowers who are concerned with the environment, who respect the vine and use the tools of viticulture reasonably in order to get the best from their land and produce a wine which reflects their personality.
