Chef Thomas Keller, one of the world's top chefs, fulfilled an auction lot from last year’s B.R Cohn Fall Music Festival and Auction at a rare private dinner Saturday night (April 24, 2010) at Doobie Brothers manager and winery owner Bruce Cohn's home in the Sonoma Valley. The lot, purchased by noted Northern California trauma surgeon Dr. Brian Schmidt, was for 22 people and featured a spring feast including freshly caught that day sautéed and baked abalone, French Laundry salad and produce, grilled Idaho short ribs and lemon tart all paired with the finest B.R. Cohn wines. Chef Keller was joined by Chef Noam Gedalof who recently returned to the French Laundry team from Jerusalem.
