Spanish Pavillion presents Gastronomic Week of Galicia with two great chefs: Pepe Solla & Alvin Leung
The Spanish Pavillion presents on May 17 (10.00 a.m.) at its press room, its Gastronomic Program with 49 Michelin stars. The Program has 17 gastronomic weeks, according to the visit of different Spanish regions. Galicia is opening these culinary dates, with the chef Pepe Solla (one Michelin star). But also, the Program will invite every week an international prestigious chef. This time will be Alvin Leung (Hong Kong, one Michelin star). They both together will build up and show a gastronomy menu with Spanish maximum excellence products. This menu will be served (lunch and dinner) at Gastronomic Restaurant, in Gran Meliá Shanghai hotel during the whole week, from May 17 To 23 (Booking Phone: 021-38 67 97 77).
With this high level culinary agents as ambassadors of Spanish maximum excellence products will be available tasting such delicious dishes like Lobster on black olive oil and sauted vegetables or Mussel pickling brine in its scent stock and roasted carrots purée. It is a whole spectrum of flavours and textures straight ahead to palates, a cultural integration show in the best stage: Expo Shanghai 2010.
Gastronomic Week of Galicia’s opening is relying on Spanish Pavillion’s director, Cecilia Pereira, the Tourism General Secretary of Galicia Region, Carmen Pardo, and the chefs themselves.
