"Golden Marriage" Couples Recall Feelings of First Love

Six couples, all in their eighties, celebrated their golden marriages on Wednesday in Wuhan City, located in central China's Hubei Province.

Sporting wedding dresses and suits, the couples drank wedlock wine and recalled their "feelings of first love."

They shared their experiences with several hundred witnesses on how they got along with their partners throughout several decades of being together.

Luo Dexin, 81, expressed his gratitude to his wife, saying "she accompanied me for sixty years, and did not leave me during my hardest time."

The local community leader Zhou Lihua told Chutian Metropolis Daily their success stories are an invaluable treasure to young people in modern China.
