The Spain Pavilion organizes every week during its Gastronomic Program a breakfast with the chance of a face to face encounter with the worlds greatest chefs, and to become a privileged witness of their latest creations. This week Cantabria, with Óscar Calleja as the maximum culinary representative and Toshiro Konishi (Japan/Peru) as the international guest chef. Together they will elaborate on a menu in conjunction with a base of products of great excellence from Cantabria, becoming ambassadors of Spanish products in China.
Journalist attending can even enter the kitchen, view a live culinary performance and follow with great detail an elaborate presentation of some of the dishes from the Gastronomic menu that will be served (for lunch and dinner) during the whole week in the Gastronomic Restaurant Acqua in the Gran Meliá Shanghai Hotel. Guest can enjoy the long menu from (788 RMB), medium menu (658) or the short menu for (528 RMB). Special discounts are offered for journalists (15% off). At the end of the encounter, the chefs are available for interviews and there will be a selection of Spanish products for tasting (until 12:00 P.M )
