Nomacorc To Co-Host Wine And Oxygen Workshop At Awitc And Winetech Expo

Nomacorc, the world’s leading producer of alternative wine closures, will co-host a Wine and Oxygen Workshop in collaboration with the O2inWines Association at the 14th Annual AWITC and WineTech Expo.

The technical session, held on Saturday, July 3, will feature the latest research findings on the role of oxygen in wine and will provide producers and professionals with practical applications for the cellar and at bottling.

The Wine and Oxygen Workshop includes a series of interactive sessions directed by leading researchers and practitioners from the Australian Wine

Research Institute (AWRI), Nomacorc and Lallemand on topics including:

Measuring oxygen in wines
The influence of wine composition
The influence of yeast and GHS
Oxygen control at bottling
OTR and post-bottling chemistry’s affect on wine sensory attributes
Tastings: How to measure the impact of oxygen on final wine quality
