Bright Food Eyes Foster's Wine Assets

June 28 -- Bright Food Group, the parent company of Bright Dairy and Food (600597) plans to purchase Australian beverage company Foster's Group's wine assets after having purchased the sugar and renewable energy assets of CSR, reports xkb.com.au.

The Australian reported that Ge Junjie, the vice president of Bright Food, visited Foster’s in Australia last week.

Ge was reported to have asked Foster's to consider the sale of its wine assets instead of it spinning off its entire wine business.

Foster’s announced in May that it was considering a separate listing for its wine and beer units.
