China ranked No.7 both in wine production and wine consumption in the world

In 2009, Wine consumption in China is bout 11,300,000 hectoliter. Local wine 9,600,000 hectoliter, accounts for about 85%; imported wine 1,700,000 hectoliter, accounts for about 15%.

The proportion of alcohol consumption in the world is: beer, 76%; wine, 11%, spirits, 10%; others, 3%. But in china, the proportion is: beer, 85%; spirits, 12%, wine, fruit wine and rice wine together accounts for 3%.

Under this situation, Zhu Sixu believes that prime time for wine industry is approaching both for local wine and imported wine.
