Middle-priced imported wines could be the maim stream in 2-3 years in China market

According to Zhu Sixu, deputy director of Guangdong Wine Monopoly Bureau, under the background of Hong kong zero tariff for imported wines, in the next two to three years, middle-priced imported wines will make inroads into china market.

The National Statistics Bureau showed that total imported wine in 2009 (not including Hong Kong, Taiwan and Macau)accounts for 171,231,332 litres in volume ( equals to 228,308,443 bottle of 750 ml wine) , up 4.93% year-on-year, but the total value of imported wine is 4,416,97,229 dollars, up 22.91%.
