Food and wine exposition to take place in Dalian

BEIJING -- The 2010 China Food Import and Export Expo & Alcoholic Drinks Culture Expo (CFAE) will be held in Dalian from July 30 to August 2. Food producers, processors, agents, and dealers from more than 20 domestic provinces and municipalities, Japan, South Korea, Hong Kong, Taiwan, and American and European countries will attend the fair.

Main activities include exhibitions, forums, new products introduction, trade negotiation, and folk show.

Organized by China National Food Industry Association (CNFIA) and Dalian Municipal People's Government, CFAE is dedicated to establishing a platform for the trade of food, sugar, and wines. It also aims to build Dalian into an important trade center of food, sugar, and wine and a raising base of precious marine products, said Du He, CNFIA's vice secretary-general.
