Australia Wine Roadshow

The Taste of Australia Wine Roadshow is an export facilitation platform developed by Austrade’s China wine team to link Australian wineries and exporters with targeted local business networks.

This 4th Taste of Australia is scheduled to take place just after CISMEF in September 2010, enabling CISMEF wine participants to maximise their market development efforts. The roadshow will cover three cities - Hangzhou, a second tier city in East China region, Beijing and Yantai, first and second tier cities in North China region. Participants will have the opportunity to meet local importers, distributors, traders, corporate buyers, and hotel / restaurant owners in the regions.

The last three sessions of Taste of Australia held in March 2008, May 2009 and March 2010, have been very successful. Over 100 market professionals participated at each location and 90 per cent of Australian participants acquired business leads as a direct result of their involvement in the roadshow.
