Hawkes Bay winery Ngatarawa Wines entered to the Chinese market

Hawkes Bay winery Ngatarawa Wines has entered to the Chinese market. This Saturday it has opened its new showroom in China. Managing director of the company, Alwyn Corban has informed that for the past two years it had been exporting its product to the country.  Great-grandfather of Alwyn Corban had established Corbans Wines.

In a statement, Corban had informed that China has become a huge market of great potential. He has also revealed that the Chinese have become fond of wine as well. The demand of wine in the country is going up rapidly.

The MD of the firm has further said, Hawkes Bay is one of the best firms in the world in the red wine business. It has promoted this red wine in China as well. It is aiming to come up with 80 per cent in red wine section and 20 per cent in white wine segment.

He has also added that the consumers of this country are less addicted with red wine. They are more cautious about their health. They also like this taste and are not so fond of the red wine. So the company is all set to introduce its product as per the preference of the Chinese consumer.
