China international green industry expo 2010
In order to enhance exchange and cooperation between China and major countries around the world in green industries and the green economy, and to cope with the issue of global climate change, the Chinese Government has decided to hold the China International Green Industry Expo 2010 (CIGIE 2010) from Nov. 24 to Nov. 27, 2010, in the Beijing Exhibition Center.
CIGIE 2010 will be hosted jointly by 12 ministries and commissions of China’s Central Government, including the Ministry of Commerce, the Propaganda Department of the CPC Central Committee, the National Development and Reform Commission, the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Environmental Protection, the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development, the Ministry of Transport, the State Intellectual Property Office, and the Chinese Academy of Science. Being the highest national level expo in green industries and economy, CIGIE 2010 is featured with characteristics of being international, advanced and non-profit oriented.
The exhibition area of CIGIE 2010 totals 22000 m2. The Chinese Government will provide the exhibition site (standard booth and raw space) to the exhibitors free of charge. Focused on clean energy, energy conservation and emission-reduction, environmental protection, and low-carbon technologies, CIGIE 2010 will display first-class companies, technologies, and products in green industries. As part of this event, activities like professional seminars and workshops, B2B meetings, business negotiations, legal consulting, press conferences will also be held with a view to help create business opportunities for the exhibitors. Paralleled with CIGIE 2010, the China International Forum on Green Industry and Green Economy 2010 will be organized at the same time. Chinese leaders, including state leaders, leaders of ministries, commissions and provinces, as well as international dignities, top business executives, experts, and scholars, will also be invited to attend the expo and forum. The Chinese and international media will have a full coverage on the expo and forum.
Based on recommendation of industrial and commercial associations and research bodies in green industries, we have selected out more than 300 renowned companies for the list of future invitation and will finalize the list according to the final plan of CIGIE 2010. Considering the fact that the preparation time for the expo is very short and the months of July and August are traditional vacation time, we would like to inform you in advance of the details of the upcoming expo. As soon as the final plan of CIGIE 2010 is set, and your esteemed organization intends to participate in the event as exhibitor, we will issue formal invitations. You are welcome to contact us at any time if you are interested in attending the expo.
