Romanian wine industry eyes China

ROMANIA's wine industry is targeting China after research it carried out found the potential for its product there could be around 91 million litres, or 121.4 million bottles.

To tap the Chinese market, a specialised wine loading terminal is being constructed in Romania's Galati harbour, China's Xinhua news agency reports. Some Romanian wine exporters and Chinese investors are beginning to build large depots exclusively for wine storage, large volume loading terminals and other facilities at this location.
