The 2011 show will be busy with conferences and meetings
Monday 24 January
5pm: Official opening ceremony with representatives from the
Languedoc-Roussillon Regional Assembly.
Tuesday 25 January
9.30am-12.30: Professional organic wine meeting (winemaking
regulation, diagnosis, structuring of the organic wine sector). With
Mrs Mercier (director of the "French Organic Agency" or Agence Bio),
Mrs Lardier (INAO), Mrs Mellier (Ministry of Agriculture) and Mr
Hulot (European Commission, Agriculture Department) and Mr Julien
(President of the AIVB-LR).
2pm-3pm: organic wine sales in Canada.With Ubifrance and report from
an importer.
3pm-4pm: Organic wines in 14 key markets: potential for French
organic wines. With Ubifrance.
4pm-6pm: Organic wine around the world. Presented by three Millésime
Bio 2011 exhibitors from Argentina, Egypt and the USA, moderated by
Rodolphe Wartel, director of "Terre de Vins" magazine.
8.30-11.30pm: "Soirée des Vignerons" (winemakers party cocktail
evening), award ceremony for Millésime Bio Challenge.
Wednesday 26 January
10-11am: What is an organic wine? With the AIVB-LR's viticulture
consultants and some of the association's member-growers.
11am-12.30pm: Reducing sulphur levels in wines and sulphur-free
wines. With P. Ferranti (University of Naples, Italy), Ph. Cottereau
(IFV) and L. Maillefer (Lotelduvin).
