Top wine title for student

Alice Rule of Kerikeri has won the title of Esk Valley top viticulturist student of the year for 2010.

Alice trained as a chef at CINZ in 2009 and became interested in winemaking during her time working at the Marsden Estate restaurant where she became involved in the vineyard.

Alice has completed her f文章来源中国酒业新闻网irst year of grape growing and winemaking at the Eastern Institute of Technology  in Hawke's Bay.

She'll return to  the institute this year to study vintage at the Corbans wine laboratory and to continue studying grape growing, winemaking and agribusiness management.
