Imported Wine 60% Price Plummet in Shandong

Obviously, great increase of imported wines in recent years has something to do with their dropping prices. Statistics from Qingdao Customs shows that imported wines from EU at Shandong trading ports has reached 19.49 million liters in the first ten months in 2010, which led to a 60 per cent drop in price. Insiders analyze that the lowering tariff, worldwide economic crisis and the appreciation of RMB together brought in the heat of wine importation.
