Conference to focus on Nebraska's wine industry

KEARNEY, Neb. (AP) - Grape growers and wine makers can learn about practices for making better wine and get an update on Nebraska's wine industry at a forum next month in Kearney.

The 14th annual Nebraska Winery and Grape Growers Forum and Trade Show is March 3-5. The event is organized by the University of Nebraska-Lincoln Viticulture Program in cooperation with the Nebraska Winery and Grape Grower's Association.

Presentations will include the tips for growing cold-hardy grapes, measuring sulfur dioxide and marketing.
