Imported wines jumped by 80% in 2010

In 2010, imported wines proceeded to increase at a high speed in China (excluding Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan).
According to the statistics released by National Bureau of Statistics and General Administration of Customs, the total amount of imported wines (including unblended wines) was 286,059,700 liters, increasing by 67.06 percent year over year. The total value of imported wines was 7.980783 billion dollars, which increased by 80.68 percent over the previous year. Unit price was about 2.79 dollar per liter, increased by 8.14 percent than the corresponding period of 2009.
