Qingdao: Wine Association Founded

The grand launching ceremony of Qingdao Wine Association was held on the morning of March 9th at Haier Intercontinental Hotel in Qingdao.

It was announced at the ceremony that the 2011 Qingdao Wine Gourmet Festival, jointly sponsored by Qingdao municipal government and Miami government of the US, will be held from May 27th to May 29th in Qingdao Olympic Center. By that time, vintners and wine experts will be invited to the festival. Items on display include various wines, Chinese and Western gourmet, products related with wines and so on.

Wine Gourmet Festival is planned to be held annually from now on, aiming to build it into a world-famous festival of the kind in five to ten years.
